I am a sixth grade Social studies teacher in NY. Although the area in which we come from is a typical middle class, there are many obstacles my students face in these hard economic times. And unfortunately, being part of the New York City School System, our school is NOT rewarded much funding as a middle class environment. My students strive on learning and love when donors like you are able to provide us with materials to foster our learning.
