I have an active and very diverse group of five to six year old who vary in their academic abilities. Many of my children receive free and reduce lunch/breakfast. They come from many diverse multicultural backgrounds. Half of my students live in low-income housing. They need every chance possible to move/fidget and standard seating does not always accommodate this. I work in a much older building with limited resources as far as furniture goes.
