I am seeking financial support to attend Camp Making Sense of SCIENCE (MSS). Camp MSS is an opportunity for educators from across the country to come together, learn exciting new science, and share innovative strategies and tools to improve classroom practice. Camp MSS will empower me with new science knowledge and teaching skills to better prepare my students for academic success in the science classroom and beyond. The key to students’ success in science is well-prepared teachers. By engaging students in science learning that is exciting and inspiring, we instill curiosity about their world. We teach them to question things they don't understand, seek answers to complicated problems, and create a foundation for understanding that builds beyond the classroom into all aspects of their world.
