These tablets will be used by my students to take Accelerated Reading quizzes easily, which in turn will increase their reading levels as well as give them opportunities to do project-based assignments in the classroom to increase independent learning. My students are ambitious about wanting to take more Accelerated Reading tests during center time however, the problem is that there isn't always a computer available for them to use. In first grade, at my school, we are only given four computers per classroom Taking AR tests will build comprehension! At this time I have twenty-one students. Most of the time these four computers are being used by the students in my class that need them for remediation. If my classroom received these five Kindle Fires my students would be thrilled!!
