In our classroom the students enjoy being engaged in pretend play cooking, recipes, incorporating what they learn from gardening and sitting at the table engaged in conversation. Our Kitchen set is old and will have to be thrown out. We are in need of a new kitchen sink and refrigerator. The sink is used to teach students how to clean food and kitchen material properly. The sink allows students to connect with items in their own house. The refrigerator will be used to store containers for food to teach size, match food to labels and encourage conversation about which food items go in the refrigerator or cabinet.

About my class
