We are requesting beanbag seating, headphones, and light covers to improve their environment and help meet their needs. These items will be used to help create a more calming academic environment for the students. Using different styles of seating helps to keep students attention and allows them to actively participate and learn. The bean bag chairs and bungee chairs will allow for students to get out of hard school chairs and into something more comfortable. Helping students feel comforted helps to increase learning. The calming weighted blanket is a good way to give a soft hug feeling to students who are over stimulated. The light covers are used to block the harshness of the fluorescent lights. Thank you!
