Many of the students in my class come from low-income families. There are also a wide variety of different races in my class and school, with the Hispanic population being the fastest growing one. The students love science activities and are always eager to learn more about the world around them, especially if it involves something hands-on. Many of the students in my class most likely do not have a lot of background experience in exploring the world beyond where they live, which for a lot of the students are low-income housing or apartments.
