The three Samsung tablets that I am requesting will offer four and five year old students the opportunity to form partner groups to research interesting topics, under our weekly thematic umbrella, that they will be able to teach their peers about. This provides the students complete ownership of the information that they choose to relay to their peers at the end of their study. The students will be able to work within their developmental ability to type or speak into searches while using that information to create books, posters, and artwork that will convey what they have learned. This culminating activity will happen over weeks which provides the students a more in depth study of a topic vs. A surface learning.
