These materials will be used as a creative outlet for students to create and solve problems with hands-on materials. Many of the Maker Space task require materials to build, decorate, write, draw or create to bring elements of a story to life. These hands-on supplies will give students a chance to bring books to life in their own ways. As the Teacher Librarian these supplies will provide our school with ways for students to express their creative side while promoting a literacy rich environment. Many of my students cannot complete projects or activities because of the cost. These supplies will help those students but also be used daily in the Library Learning Center.
