These lab coats and safety goggles will help teach my students the safety that needs to be taken when completing science experiments and what/who is a scientist. It will also allow my students to become a scientist in real life. I always teach this at the beginning of the year. I plan on using the safety gear all year long not only in science but in my science and dramatic play centers. These materials will help build my students self esteem to "I can do it" and engage my students in learning. It will show my students that they can do anything that they put their minds to. I want to create a learning experience and classroom that my students will never forget.
