I teach an amazing group of students who work hard and love to learn, but for some students there are obstacles in the classroom. One of these obstacles is expecting young children to sit in chairs, at a desk, for hours on end. For many, even providing opportunities for movement throughout the day isn't enough. I want to help remove this barrier by offering flexible seating options in my classroom. Not only will this help students be more comfortable while working and learning, but they will also become more invested in their education by knowing they had a chance to choose how they would be most successful.

About my class
