My project involves having high quality school supplies for all my students on the first day of school. Their notebooks will be used to document learning in the areas of science, math and language arts. In science they will take notes, draw detailed pictures of what we discover during outside trips, the experiments we do. They will also illustrate the natural systems and cycles we will learn about. The sharpies and colored pencils will help them label and emphasis important details. As well as, in general, bring their work to life. In math and language arts the colors will help to discover and depict patterns, identify parts of speech and writing structures, show relationships through color coding, illustrate the stories they write, and many other important details.
