Technology is the key to the 21st century and during this time of Covid, it has become even more important than ever before. Students are being required to use technology at home when schools are closed or when they are quarantining. This year, our school district bought each student their own IPad. This is a wonderful initiative, and we are all very excited! However, in order to use the iPads to the fullest, I am in need of a device called an Apple TV. Having this device in our classroom would allow for lessons and student work to be displayed on the Promethean board by connecting to AirPlay. AirPlay is a great feature to have when presenting, modeling, creating, or teaching. I want to have the ability to display my IPad screen so that my students can see it and also for my students to share their work or project with each other. The students can use the Apple Pencil to draw or write without having to use just their finger. They can use this pencil and be very precise -right down to a single pixel on the touchscreen.
