I teach Kindergarten and we are busy everyday. They enjoy conversations and movement. We have many stations set up for them to explore and learn. My school is a low poverty, title I, school and I buy many classroom materials myself. I would love to buy iPad for my students, but that is just not possible. In today's world, they need to learn more technology. One little girl, needs an iPad for her daily work due to her many limitations in motor skills. Her mom tells me that she is able to trace letters and numbers on hers at home without frustration. This is what I want for her in my classroom also. She has very limited fine motor skills which makes it hard to write, cut, glue, color, etc. I want to see her learning the best way she can, and this means using an iPad to aid her in ABC recognition and writing, math skills and a variety of other educational activities.
