My student are AP and GT children so cognitively they are capable of high achieving academic work. They work hard and strive to do their best every day however they are not always appreciated by our school population, adults and other students alike. Our school is the largest in the district with 2900 plus students in attendance. About 75% of our student body come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. While we do the best we can, there is not always a lot of money left over for the high tech extras that my kids need for the level demanded by AP and Collegeboard.
