These tools will allow students to participate in our Engineering Design projects where they need to take precise measurements of real world items to reverse engineer parts. For example, in one of their projects they will take measurements off a LEGO to draw it in Autodesk Inventor. Autodesk Inventor is a professional Computer Aided Design software that many real world engineers use. The wire strippers are needed so students can prepare wire so that they can learn the skill of soldering to explore electricity and electronics. The project they will complete will involve students designing a circuit and then soldering the components together.

About my class
