First grade students need visuals to help their learning process. Having a visual, especially one of their own thinking and words, will help students to express their own thinking. Throughout the day we will work together to make charts that will be hung in the classroom that our students will use everyday. The easel will be a tool in our classroom for the students to be able to see not only their own thinking but that of their peers as well. We will be able to use the easel for reading, writing, math, science, and even fun, educational activities all young children need!

About my class
