We need an iPad to use during listening centers and for educational games that we have access to but are not always able to utilize since our current tablets are so unreliable and outdated. An iPad will improve my students learning because they will then be able to utilize various educational apps such as Math, Starfall, and Lexia that the district has made available to us but we have a hard time accessing because we do not have reliable tablets or iPads that are required to access them. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home so an iPad will help them become more familiar with technology which will benefit them in the future. These apps help students build their reading, writing, and math skills and be more successful.
