I am a third year classroom teacher but have been working in education for several years as an impact (resource) and substitute teacher. Being able to teach in the same community that I grew up in makes me feel closer to my students. I understand where many of them come from and can relate to some of the obstacles they face. Motivating my students and helping them reach their goals is what I love doing. They know that no goal is too high and that with hard work, a positive attitude, and determination they can achieve anything they put their mind to.
