The rug and bean bags will give the students a chance to get out of their wheel chairs and stretch out. It will also give them a different perspective and help them learn how to sit up and hold their heads up straight. The students have to be in their wheelchairs for such long periods of time. They get very upset by the end of the day because they are so uncomfortable. Try to imagine staying in the same seat all day with out moving. They have to learn, eat, play, restroom, and everything else in their wheelchairs all day. Giving them a chance to escape will greatly improve their lives.
