Teens are always hungry, but especially hungry at 3:30 when after school tutoring begins for 2 hours. It is difficult for them to concentrate and experience the learning process if all they hear is the grumble in their stomach. With these snacks they will be able to eat and feed their mind, body and soul. They will be able to concentrate on learning. Fuel, filled, fabulous teenagers perform to their potential when they feel energized, appreciated and their bodies and minds are ready to learn. My students are some of the strongest, smartest, people I know and given a chance with their brain fueled they may be the person that cures cancer or creates the next Siri. They just need to be given a chance.
