Our fifth grade class contains eager learners who thrive when immersed in real world learning. They are working hard to raise money for their Everglades field trip to participate in a truly once in a lifetime opportunity that puts them at the heart of nature and a variety of ecosystems. As a Title 1 school my students are from low socioeconomic homes and the recent hurricanes dramatically impacted their daily lives. I have students who lost homes, suffered severe home damage, and some who are still recovering emotionally from the trauma of living through the storm. Any support would be very much appreciated!
