I work at a small charter school in South Carolina. Our school serves K-5 students and we focus on Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences, Positive Discipline, and the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. By using a variety of instructional practices, we aim to prepare our students to take charge of their own lives and to discover balance is best! Our students are excited to explore the world of literature and to learn about the craft of other authors. They are like sponges; they eagerly absorb massive amounts of information from sources all around, especially books!
