I teach in a 3rd grade classroom in a small rural school district in the state of Wisconsin. We are very fortunate to have small class sizes in our 4k-3 building in which I teach in. The diversity in our school mostly comes from the low socioeconomic status that exists. Our free and reduced rate lunch numbers are above 40% resulting in a fully funded Title I school. As a result of this, students come to school from a wide variety of home situations. For the most part our students behave well and are eager to learn new material on a daily basis. In 3rd grade we are one-to-one with technology (iPads) and we are equipped with an interactive board too. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to teach each and every one of my students each day.
