The books that I am asking for will be used as throughout the year to teach about diversity and acceptance of people that are different than themselves. The books are in Spanish and English which allows for conversations to begin about mindfulness, acceptance of differences, being an immigrant in the U.S., and self affirmation. These books will facilitate to begin to have an open conversations about diversity and acceptance. The documenting camera will facilitate sharing the beautiful illustrations in the various books during remote learning. Illustrations help bring the book to life virtually.
