"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." - Helen Keller Greetings potential donors! I want to thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. I am a K-5 art teacher in a small charter school in Houston, TX. This is my 6th year as art teacher at this campus. Due to the fact that education, our charter school included, has been experiencing drastic cuts to funding on a variety of fronts for a number of years now. These cuts have been so hard particularly on the visual and performing arts. Regardless of the cuts, my students come to school each day with a great passion and willingness to learn. As an art teacher, I want to be able to continue tickling their creative passions with appropriate curriculum, learning materials, and art supplies. Your donation truly makes a difference.
