Using these Chromebook laptops, students will work in rotations/groups on shared documents or to share individual documents. Research, writing, collaboration and efficient use of technology is integral to this design. The reading and writing process (draft-revise-edit) is critical. Laptops enable shared documents that provide a more efficient process for collaboration, the writing process, and revision. Students work in small groups to read and mark text, talk through and create group or individual essays, slide show presentations, text analysis, etc. Collaborating on projects, sharing ideas in our writing, and having a more "digital classroom" is the wave of the future. We need to get on that wave and enjoy the ride to their bright future.
