In a nutshell my class is obsessed with soccer! They are very competitive and love anything with games. They are low-socioeconomic students who dream of being successful when they are older. They are all kind, caring, and very respectful to themselves, others, and our school. My students love to learn, take note in their notebooks, and conduct science investigations. I am trying to get them to love math and reading as much as science with center based activities that will make it more fun and meaningful for them. My school is close to a major city, which comes with lots of advantages and disadvantages. Our school believes in every child, and I am able to teach my students not only at the 4th grade level, but their ability level as well. Many of my students have fallen behind due to languages spoken at home, moving, or any personal family situations. It is my job to get them to love learning by making it FUN for them!
