The students I am teaching are living in a world I didn't experience as a child. Students are experiencing high levels of anxiety as well as learning deficits due to the pandemic. I've asked for some calm down tools along with a worry monster. This will help students voice their worries and get some calm down help. I have asked for some LCD writing tablets. These will be used in small group to teach phonics and math. Students are engaged when they get to use a variety of tools. The wiggle seats/stools will help students have opportunities to learn other than in the traditional desk/chair.
