I am trying to find funding for things we need in the classroom to make learning more comfortable for the kiddos. Also, many students struggle with reading and these Lakeshore phonemic awareness games are LIFE. I work in a fast paced environment, and need something functional. I've seen alot of garbage merchandise out there, however I like these lakeshore products since it breaks up the elements of phonological awareness, giving teachers etc a clearer picture of where difficulties lie. I believe in functional learning games! IT gets the job DONE, while having fun- because boredom kills both adults and children alike.
The public school system gives us NADA, whereby we are constantly buying things with our own money. Thank Goodness for websites like these.
These games will be put to great use in small groups from k-2 so that we can close the literacy/achievement gap- which is so impossible sometimes.
