I teach first graders that are full of energy. They are eager to learn to read and are very visual. They love to engage in center activities. My class enjoys learning through movement, music, and a safe/comfortable environment. My school has high academic expectations with a lot of community involvement. We are a Core Knowledge School and enjoy a lot of hands-on learning. Students spend 180 minutes learning literacy throughout the day.

About my class
