This school is in a middle income area. Surprisingly many of my students say they don't have access to technology, like iPads, within their homes. My students love the idea of using iPads, but within the school the element of time is restricted with the number of iPads they can use regularly. Currently, my students get 35 minutes of time once a week on a computer to try and fit in keyboarding, writing, math, and reading fluency. Time versus availability doesn't work. Who are they? They are students who would like the chance to improve their reading fluency so they can succeed in other areas of education.
