The historic shutdown of schools during the COVID-19 pandemic severely impacted many students' literacy development during their crucial early years of reading. Reading Plus is an integrated program to accelerate reading achievement through personalized instruction and targeted intervention. Reading is undoubtedly the gateway to opportunity, and Reading Plus would provide a way to build the foundational skills of my most struggling students and get them fluently reading at grade level. (ELA RF.4.3; ELA RF.4.4). Your generous support would provide a literacy intervention program to meet the needs of these amazing students.
