Many of my students are reluctant learners or are too connected to their technology. Having the tablets would allow me to bridge the gap between the resources that are available with the students' interests. Those reluctant learners are less reluctant when they are engaged. I can make science come alive for those students. I can also use them on a daily basis to gauge understanding and administer quizzes. Preparation for our standardized assessment will be easier as well. I will also provide the tablets to students to use during their study hall time. Test scores will increase, and self esteem will improve. Students will become more scientifically proficient and literate.
