My project is based around flexible seating options. I am requesting a classroom rug, stools, bean bags, and chair bands. The chair bands will be beneficial so students can kick their feet on them to help them stay on task. These options will also help students choose what method will help them learn best. Students will have the option to sit on the classroom rug, sit on yoga balls, or on the bean bags to complete classwork assignments and work collaboratively with their peers. These materials will make a difference in the lives of my students and help students that have a lot of trouble staying focused for the entire class period.
