Second grade is a big year. The expectations are much higher than in first grade, yet they are still young children with short attention spans. It is crucial to my students to have plenty of opportunities for movement and to make learning fun for them. This is why I am requesting exercise balls to be used instead of chairs and materials so I can make math games for them. I am also asking for hands-on learning materials to help with tough math problems. I am also requesting speakers and headphones so I can better integrate technology into my lessons. My students deserve to have fun while they are learning. Please help me with this goal!
