My students range in age from Kindergarten to 6th grade. My school is ethnically and socioeconomically diverse. Students speak many different languages and come to us from all over the world. It is my goal through the art program to expose students to a variety of art mediums and techniques. I also strive to provide them with an opportunity to create art that allows them to express themselves and make connections to science concepts. The Art Night is the culmination of students' work throughout the year. Parents, students, and other community members will be invited to participate in an art event. At this event, students will have a wonderful opportunity for students to proudly show off their accomplishments in an art centered evening.
