Our school is in a rural community with the majority of households at or below the poverty level. Many of our students face adversity at home and in the community. The school supplies the majority of many students meals and school supplies. We are a Title I school and often find our students without the necessary supplies to participate in class. Pencils and paper are just the basic of their needs. The students also need earbuds to fully participate in interactive lessons in the classroom. Without earbuds, sound cannot be used in such a large class.
