"Where's the bucket for the coins? I just found another one on the floor," says a first grade student who most likely just picked up something we just finished using and putting away. This phrase is so commonly heard throughout the day. I currently teach first grade to 20 students of low economic backgrounds. During the day the students learn a variety of subjects that include reading, mathematics, writing, science, and social studies. Each subject requires many materials and a great deal of organization with these materials.
