I work with students in grades k-6 at an elementary school, 7-9 at a junior high and 10-12 at a high school. My students are typically in Special Education and have social/emotional and behavioral difficulties. However, I work with many students in regular education who are needing interventions for behavioral difficulties as well. I use a variety of ways to teach social and school skills to them. However, some kids have a more difficult time engaging and benefit from having technology incorporated into the lesson. They all benefit from having material presented verbally and visually, due to their different strengths and weaknesses. My students also earn reward time with me to do an activity when they have met their behavior goals at school and having activities that are fun and educational is important to me.
