"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up." Thomas Alva Edison This is the message I try to convey to my students. I teach at Mojave Continuation High School. Many of our students come from low-income families and are considered at-risk. As a result, they have failed in academic situations. We try to give them a new perspective about learning. We want them to succeed in all ways. We have many challenges in pursuing our goals. As most schools do, we need additional resources and funding. Any help offered will be welcomed.
