When entering our school, any visitor will immediately feel the warmth radiating from the hallways. The students are excited to meet new visitors and share their knowledge with them. We are an Expeditionary Learning School, so we focus on 6 character traits each day to teach students independence inside and outside of the classroom. We focus on leadership, grit, craftsmanship, stewardship, integrity, and respect. Students in our school are from a lower socioeconomic level, and often do not have necessary supplies for school, or materials to practice literacy at home. We all work together as a "crew" to achieve our goals for success as a learning community.
