Our reading program requires students to complete online activities, assessments, and interventions. The class needs the headphones to work independently on the reading program while in the same classroom as their peers. They would be using these headphones while I am in the room working with small groups, aiding other students, or performing other assessments. The headphones would allow them to work in an environment free of distractions, which means they will be able to focus on the lesson and grow as readers! This also would mean they would not have to use the current head phones that have no volume control or are missing half the ear piece.
