I teach nineteen, five-year-old students in a very small Title I school. Our school population for PreK through 5th grade is around 600. Most of our students are on free or reduced price lunches. My students are eager to learn and absorb new knowledge. As a teacher, I feel limited as to what I can purchase with our meager $150 per year spending allowance. I find myself using a lot of my own money to make my classroom the best learning environment I possibly can.
