My little mathematicians would like to be the "sharpest" pencil in the box. They are always looking down at their desk because they are frightend to hear the teacher say "Little Jose...What's the answer?" They want to be brave and raise their hand during Math class. I want them to stop "believing" or saying "I am not good in Math." My students are the ones that just need the little EXTRA help. At one point or another we have all been in their shoes. I want them to get away from the "fixed mindset" and start having a "growth mindset." Every single one has the potential to master Math! My desire for the students is to have access to iPad minis in order to enhance their learning. They will realize that they are BRILLIANT and that if they persist they can become the next famous mathematician.
