My classroom consists of six smart, enthusiastic, and determined children. They receive academic instruction in a substantially separate classroom, and are involved in inclusion activities when appropriate. They are diagnosed with intellectual disabilities that inhibit their ability to learn and comprehend at grade level. Some of my students have difficulty with communication and they use the iPads to assist them. In general, learning through games and interactive activities are best! We are blessed to have 1:1 iPads for each student in the room but we juggle keeping them "powered up" with 1 shared charger.
