My students are eager and excited for learning! They have been working hard to gain a better understanding of the world around them and they have been learning to use their voices to make change in their community. Their perseverance everyday is inspiring and I am so lucky to be their teacher. Together, my students and I, are able to overcome obstacles and find different ways of meeting the needs of our classroom and our community. It has been my job to help them feel empowered to take on new challenges. With the support of donor's choose, my students have already begun to make huge changes at our school and use their voices to advocate for themselves and others!
