Teaching kindergarten from home requires me to video at least 15 lessons per week. Keeping kids engaged in online learning is done best with high quality videos. I struggled with lighting last spring to highlight the activities and texts I was sharing. The ring light will help illuminate student learning just right. It takes a lot of creative presentation to capture the attention of a young learner who is schooling at home. The laptop stand is an essential part of this process because it helps to get the computer at the right height and angle to capture the lessons I am presenting. The ability for this stand to rotate helps with smooth transitions as my lessons may not always be stationary. I model everything in kindergarten. Having a stand to allow me to use my phone as a document camera would make sharing my writing or use of math manipulatives more effective.
