I am requesting headphones with microphones so that students can complete district-mandated MAP fluency tests. These tests give me the data to differentiate instruction for each student in small group time and one-on-one sessions. I am also requesting a variety of math manipulatives to help my bilingual students learn mathematical concepts that are crucial in 3rd grade. I focused my requested materials on area and perimeter, fractions, and geometry because those topics are an essential part of the foundational math that students must master at the elementary level. The manipulatives will also foster group collaboration and critical thinking development.

About my class
