My class consists of 13 third graders and 12 fourth graders. Eighty percent of my students receive free or reduced lunches. There are only three students that have tested at grade level. My students have a wide range of individual needs in both math and reading. Because of these varying needs as well as being a split grade class, I am pulled in many different directions and searching for alternative ways and opportunities for learning to occur. My students are very inquisitive and have a great attitude when it comes to learning new things. My school is committed to the success of all students, and it works to make sure that each student is given a chance to reach their potential.
